The HTC Sensation – review is here to offer a short insight of this model and as this is one of the most interesting smartphones launched in 2011 the small Taiwanese company made a fortune. This model is considered to be the spearhead of the Taiwanese company HTC. I got to see how Samsung Galaxy S II, LG Optimus 2 X work so I will make some comparisons between these three mobile dual-core terminals. I liked this model very much and I would say that the HTC Sensation is fighting peer to peer with the super- smartphone of those from Samsung – Galaxy S II and only some details make it stand out from the South Korean.

In terms of design, screen and sound you do not feel that you have in hand a mobile phone with a 4.3 – inch screen and weighting 148 grams. They made this model a little longer than the Samsung Galaxy S II which compared to Sensation seems really square and the edges are curvy. The materials used are excellent in quality as well. The technology behind the screen is S-LCD with 540×960 pixels or qHD. You see the difference from the SGS II 480×800 especially in browsing. The speaker is mounted in the back and is heard quite strong and clear. The sound quality that comes on the 3.5 mm jack allows the transformation of this smartphone in a MP3 or MP4 player.

The design is as a whole and although you think that it is composed of three distinct segments the back case is made from one piece. To have access to the SIM card and the microSD card with capacities of up to 32GB you have to remove the battery of 1520 mAh. This operation is relatively easy and only requires pressing a small button at the bottom of the casing of the phone. The 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and speaker are positioned higher on the back and this solution is classic.

In the higher part of the smartphone there is the 3.5 mm jack and the power button with a role in locking / unlocking the screen quickly. On the left side there is the volume key that can be considered slightly oversized. Under the screen there are four capacitive buttons with the roles of Search, Back, Menu and Home.

Design makes it even more beautiful than the SGS II, but often this is where subjective opinions deliver the choice. However, HTC Sensation is a phone not compromising quality and gives no impression of having 4.3 inches diagonally and this is a big strongpoint for many users.
