LG Optimus Black represents a worthy competitor for smartphones in its segment of the market. I had the smartphone for about three weeks and I played with this phone a lot. What I can say after using it is that I was pleasantly surprised by the weight and thickness of it and I must say that the manufacturers definitely managed to optimize the features of this smartphone to their maximum or at least to what you may possibly want from a smartphone like this. The largest item in the whole smartphone is the battery but being the largest item is not always bad as you will see when I speak about the lifetime of this device. I simply enjoyed using it because it’s thin and offers pretty much everything you might want, in conversations, with the wireless turned on, while browsing the Internet or taking pictures.

It is very durable, so if you sit on it while it’s placed in your pocket, you’re lucky; you may have the surprise it had survived. The manufacturers featured this model with a very good microprocessor that works at a standard 1 GHz frequency and I think that is enough for whatever you want to do with it. It comes with 2 GB of internal storage memory and a 512 RAM memory module, but you will feel the difference between this and another similar device.
The best thing is that many people in blogging already chose this phone as their main tool of updated content upload. This means that the 5 mega pixels the camera offers are enough to allow the user to be active in social media by making Facebook pictures upload easy and the display is so light and easy to use that you can write a tweet or an email very quickly.

Ah, I said the display? It’s a reason why it’s called the brightest display on a mobile phone as I usually use the device with the brightness at a minimum but on LG Optimus Black I never had problems in the sun even in that setting.
And another detail that I want to add; I always keep the phone in the pocket next to a pen ( if you pay by credit card you have to have a pen to sign the receipts ) and this thing amazed me because the display hasn’t got any scratches. I liked that aspect a lot.
