Motorola’s latest consumer TALKABOUT Two-Way Radio is loaded full of features in a sturdy, light and portable body.
The all-new Motorola TALKABOUT T465 two-way radio was developed with hunters in mind, permitting them to connect wirelessly while not having to bother about the trouble and hassle of bulky wires. The T465 is available in a tough green design for external use, an excellent walkie-talkie for camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, and emergencies along with kayaking.
Motorola says that TALKABOUT T465 has optimum range of up to 35 miles in the valley and mountains. We have tested it with 2 mile range in the suburbs and we got clear reception with the power boost features. In the mountains it was giving amazing 25 mile range when used with power boost feature. Keep in mind that the actual range one will get from these radios or any kind of two way radio is determined by the terrain, climatic conditions and obstructions in the surrounding area.
Although it is not included, the TALKABOUT T465 two-way radio can be combined with either a Bluetooth suitable headset together with a wireless Bluetooth PTT button for a completely hands-free setup. Bluetooth PTT sets are mostly sold separately.
