I’m sorry I couldn’t express all my thoughts about the LG Optimus Black in one article so this is the second part of the so called review.
Even if I bought the phone for a friend of mine I got the chance to use it for several days so that I can discover any bugs or missing features provided on the website from where I bought it. I had it for a few days and it's just gorgeous; the screen size and behavior are great, I can easy read emails, browsing the Internet is quite simple and fast especially as it has a special button that once activated allows you move web pages simply by tilting the phone. The colors look more vivid even than on the iPhone; I must declare that I played with several smartphones and LG's screen seems better but I’m open to criticism.

Navigating the menus is very fast, I have yet to notice any delays or bottlenecks. Installing applications on the Android operating system is simple as you just need to select the desired application from the Android Market and with a click it’s on the phone. I found many apps that interested me and almost all were free.
The 5 MP camera takes pictures at high quality and even if I can not compare it with a DSLR, I think this smartphone will replace my dedicated 7.2 MP camera that I always keep in reach. Recording HD 720p movies is good, the only drawback being is that when downloading movies on the computer they can look deformed and I must specify the correct resolution in the player. From what I’ve read on forums that is a software error related to reading the resolution but I'm sure the next update that LG will release for the Android will solve it.

The battery so far kept the device going for more than a day, but taking into account that I had only 2 days at disposal and rather intensive use, I say it endured quite well. Also from what I read, it should last about 2-3 days if used normally. The GPS and Wi-Fi modules consume a lot if turned on. Apps could have been optimized better as after I installed a task killer I increased battery life.
I hope to succeed in the near future to come back with a list of apps that I would use daily and which I hope will be useful to other users of such Android smartphones.
